This is simply an awesome amount of research, tracking and work you have
done, and I want to publicly commend you for the effort.  A quick review
confirms that I personally will want/need to spend some time and attention
to a fuller groking of your contributions/analysis/recap (already I note no
mention of microformats - should they be considered here?), but the sheer
effort to assemble all of this is impressive.

Bravo friend!

The obvious next question is: now what?  While recipients of your email such
as myself are now aware of this work, what are your thoughts moving forward?
Internal discussion aside, how do you envision making these
counter-proposals to some long-held WHAT-WG thinking more public?
