An interesting idea, however in your introduction you state that  "There
has not been any in-depth debate about the design principles of HTML5".
There has been (ad nauseum), and I for one wouldn't be interested in
repeating the experience lol. It turned out to be a total
willo-the-wisp, moving goal post etc.

However, a fresh canvas (no pun intended) may be interesting as a place
to distill what the current hot button are.
